ALKEME announced the appointment of Scott Salandy (pictured above) as Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriter.

Salandi has more than three decades of insurance experience, including extensive experience in both domestic and international markets. His most recent role included growing a profitable construction insurance portfolio in the Southern California market.

In his new role at ALKEME, Salandi will work to establish a national surety practice to meet the company’s surety bond needs. His responsibilities will include underwriting, marketing and issuing surety bond business.

In addition, ALKEME said he will provide strategic direction to clients and executive leadership to the national practice, with the goal of maximizing long-term growth plans.
