Insurance broker ALKEME, which has completed more than 40 acquisitions since its founding in 2020, is growing bigger with its swoop for Louisiana-based Hardwick Insurance.

The latest deal, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, signifies the expansion of ALKEME’s presence in the southern United States. Located in Lafayette, Hardwick Insurance Company is known for its expertise in commercial and personal insurance to a diverse client base throughout the Southern region.

With Hardwick Insurance’s long-standing reputation for providing world-class services and customized insurance solutions, especially for religious institutions, the acquisition is consistent with ALKEME’s goal of providing comprehensive and customized insurance services.

Curtis Barton, CEO of ALKEME (pictured), said: “We are excited to expand our presence in the southern US with Hardwick Insurance. Their specialty in insuring religious institutions complements our broad range of insurance offerings, and we look forward to helping them gain a larger footprint.” .

Earlier this year, ALKEME added California-based Ferrante Insurance Services to its roster of companies.
