As part of its effort to serve more in-state clients, BenefitMall has announced the expansion of its sales team in Florida, with Yvonne Arroyo (pictured, left) and Lisa Elstein (pictured, right) – both experienced insurance brokers – joining the group as Sales Directors Benefit.

“With a career spanning 23 years, Elstein has consolidated her experience in the fully insured/self-insured group health care industry, specializing in HMOs, POS plans, PPOs, HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, COBRA, pharmacy benefits, wellness, and dental programs. Coverage “Elstein has built strong relationships with local insurance agents, brokers, health plans and consultants throughout Florida,” BenefitMall said.

“With her extensive industry knowledge, strong leadership skills and proven track record of success, Lisa will have a significant impact in the Florida market and beyond,” added Brooke Purslow, vice president of BenefitMall’s southern region.

Meanwhile, Arroyo brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience to the table, as she joins a newly expanded Florida sales team. According to her profile, Arroyo is known for her “client-focused approach to finding solutions.”

Prior to joining BenefitMall, Arroyo was a senior account executive in the employer group medical division of a large health insurance company. Arroyo’s specialties are employer group benefits, which include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.

Porcello said he is thrilled about what Arroyo can offer the BenefitMall Florida family.

“With Yvonne’s dedication and expertise, she is making a difference and we look forward to her contributions.”

The Florida expansion is just one of a series of team expansions that BenefitMall has completed in recent months. In February, it expanded its team into Northern California, followed by teams in Georgia and Florida in March. On March 11, BenefitMall announced the expansion of its team in Southern California, followed by an expansion into Houston in April. It also announced the arrival of another executive in Dallas one day earlier.
