Chedid Re Global Operations, the reinsurance brokerage network of investment group Chedid Capital, has announced the appointment of Vincent Vandendael as an independent non-executive director. The appointment reinforces Chedid Re’s commitment to strengthening its global corporate governance framework as it seeks to expand into the world’s largest and most promising insurance, financial and regulatory centres.

Vandendael has over 30 years of experience in both developed and emerging insurance markets. These markets include strong cities and countries such as New York, Hong Kong, Switzerland and London. Vandendael has focused on strategic geographic expansion and financial management. In addition, he has also served as a board member of leading international organizations and advised various general managing agents.
