CRC Group, a North American specialty wholesale insurance distributor, has announced the addition of three new professionals to its team as part of a strategic expansion effort to enhance its services to retail agency clients across the country.

Rudy Helling (pictured above left) has joined CRC Group’s Carmel, Indiana office as an underwriting team leader. Helling brings nearly a decade of experience as a real estate and casualty underwriter with a general management agency to his new role.

Sam Rector (pictured above, center) has been appointed as a broker in CRC’s Nashville, Tennessee, office. Rector, who has about 10 years of industry experience, previously served as an associate director at a British-American multinational insurance services company.

Chris Young has assumed the position of Personal Lines Underwriting Team Leader in CRC Group’s Alpharetta, Georgia office. Young’s career in the insurance industry spans more than 26 years, including his most recent position as a Senior Personal Lines Underwriter for an independent wholesale insurance broker and underwriting manager.

The insurance company said the appointments are part of CRC Group’s broader strategy to enhance its ability to support retail agency clients nationwide.

CRC Insurance Services employs a team of 5,100 professionals in its offices in the United States and Canada. The company writes more than $40 billion in annual premiums for property and casualty, employee benefits, life, pensions, and long-term care.

Earlier this month, the wholesale insurance distributor also announced dual appointments, with Sean Kenny joining the Houston, Texas-based company as senior vice president and broker.

Meanwhile, Travis McCleary has been appointed lead of the underwriting team in the Seattle, Washington office.

In July, CRC Group also made executive leadership appointments in its commercial solutions operations. Brent Treadway was appointed sole head of brokerage.

Brennan Paris, previously COO of CRC’s Packaging division, has assumed the role of President of Packaging.
