Everest Insurance, the insurance division of Everest Group, has launched a new wholesale brand in the United States called Everest Evolution.

According to Everest Insurance, the move comes in response to growing demand for access to its products in the U.S. surplus and supplemental lines segment, which accounts for nearly 10% of the country’s total direct insurance premiums.

The launch of Everest Evolution follows the appointment of Stephen Bonpin and Daniel Stewart as President and COO of the brand, respectively.

Explaining the rationale behind this business decision, Bonban said: “We built Everest Evolution from the ground up with a brand that reflects Everest’s 20-year track record and deep commitment to serving the wholesale market.

“We believe the new brand perfectly embodies Everest’s reputation as a fast and reliable partner, constantly adapting and evolving alongside our clients’ needs in a rapidly changing risk environment.”

Everest Evolution is set to be officially launched at the annual Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Marketplace show this month. The brand launch includes a new website, www.everestevolution.com, along with updated branding elements.

Bill Hazelton, Everest Insurance’s executive vice president and president of North America Insurance, emphasized the brand’s focus on the wholesale segment, saying, “As the brand says, our wholesale customers and brokers deserve a partner like Everest that will never stand still.

“We are investing heavily in growth with a dynamic wholesale marketplace, providing exclusive access to all of our excess and excess insurance products and services in one place.”
