Fusion Specialty announced the expansion of its global partnership with specialty insurer HDI Global Specialty SE to the Americas, adding more capacity for its representation and warranties (R&W), tax, and contingent liability insurance business.

This expansion strengthens Fusion’s capabilities in the field of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) insurance and its presence in the region, in line with the company’s strategic vision for global growth.

David Rogers, CEO of Fusion, highlighted the partnership with HDI Global Specialty SE and how it has evolved.

“Fusion’s partnership with HDI has grown over the years. They have been our partner since we started in Australia, then expanded to the UK and EU last year, and now to the US. Adding HDI to our team of underwriters in “Fusion Americas complements the global partnership between HDI and all Fusion Centers.”

Jim Clark (pictured above left), CEO of HDI Global US, also highlighted the importance of the partnership to the company’s growth strategy in the region.

“With Fusion’s expertise and strong SME portfolio, we aim to strengthen our service offerings and diversify our risk exposure, strengthening our position in transactional risk insurance within the SME and LMM sectors. Michael Mora (pictured above right), CEO of Fusion Americas, also commented on the company’s M&A expansion as it adds new products with the A+-rated carrier.

“Expanding our partnership with HDI to Fusion Americas is a testament to our strong business performance and results both in the U.S. and globally,” Mora said.

Mora, who was recently promoted to CEO of Fusion Americas from Managing Partner, has worked with HDI across multiple jurisdictions since founding Fusion in 2018.
