CRC Group announced an influx of new employees, saying they will strengthen the company’s operations in the coming days.

Yoni Armistead (pictured, left) joins its Irvine, California, office as leader of the underwriting team. Prior to joining CRC Group, Armstead worked for eight years with another director of insurance broking and wholesale underwriting.

Meanwhile, Dylan Kamin (pictured, center) has joined CRC’s Denver, CO office as an underwriting team leader. Kamin has extensive underwriting experience, having been a commercial lines underwriter with a leading managing general agency and wholesale surplus and surplus lines brokerage firm.

Meanwhile, CRC’s San Francisco office welcomed Lindsay Holmes (pictured, right) as its newest mediator. She will share her more than 10 years of industry experience, which includes her recent work as a real estate broker with a large professional services and management consulting firm, with CRC Group.

According to the group, the new appointments represent a strategic expansion effort aimed at enhancing the assistance it provides to retail agency clients nationwide.

CRC Group is a wholesale specialist insurance distributor and has been in business for over 100 years. It consists of three divisions: Commercial Solutions, Group & Individual Solutions, and Specialized Software, and has operations throughout the United States and Canada. Its product offerings include a wide range of wholesale and specialty insurance such as property and casualty, life, annuity, disability, long-term care, and employee benefits. It has partnered with more than 650 airlines to provide its services to its target customers.

According to its website, CRC Group has made nine corporate acquisitions since 2020 and has employed more than 300 experts in its group. The company also boasts $40 billion in premiums in 2023, including $5 billion and $3 billion in Starwind Premium and obligated premium programs, respectively.
