Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of Southern Colorado Insurance (formerly SCIC LLC) for an undisclosed amount.

As part of the acquisition, owner Debbie Klesh (pictured), president Andrew Klesh, and the rest of the Southern Colorado Insurance roster will be merged into Hub Colorado. Following the transition, Southern Colorado Insurance will operate under the name SCIC LLC, a subsidiary of Hub International.

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, the agency provides commercial and personal insurance services. It specializes in sectors such as construction, hospitality, and nonprofit organizations. By leveraging its capabilities, the existing expertise in Hub’s specialty practices will be enhanced and expanded.

This deal comes on the heels of Hub’s acquisition of Pennsylvania-based Insurance Management Company (IMC).

Announcing the IMC deal, Chet Rhodes, President of Hub Three Rivers, said: “IMC is a highly recognized company in the region, and we are delighted to have them join the Hub. Their strong, experienced team, reputation and relationships will support and enhance the broad range of services we offer to clients across the region.”

In July, Hub also added North Carolina-based Wade Associates to its acquisition list.

Other recent M&A deals completed by Hub include Symphony Financial & Insurance Services in Rosemead, The Essex Agency in Vermont, Combined HCM in California, True North Group Insurance Services in Michigan, Cargill Insurance in Massachusetts, and Merriwether & Williams in California.

With more than 17,000 employees in offices across North America, the center specializes in risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement, and wealth management products and services.
