Based in London, Kittinger will report to Fidelis Insurance Group CEO Dan Burrows and will be part of the company’s senior leadership team.

“Jason has extensive experience and a proven track record of financial leadership and operational excellence,” said Burrows. “I am excited for Jason to bring his knowledge and expertise to Fidelis Insurance Group, which will further enhance our operations.”

Burrows also praised the contributions of Denise Brown-Brush, who has served as UK Group CEO and Group COO since 2023. With Kittinger’s appointment, Brown-Brush will focus on her role as UK Group CEO.

Kittinger will be responsible for improving operational efficiency and driving performance improvements across the Fidelis Insurance Group, areas the company hopes to improve.

It is noteworthy that the reinsurance group recorded a sharp decline in net income last month compared to the same period last year.

The company reported net income of $53.7 million for the April-June period of this year, compared to $83.9 million in the same period last year. This figure equates to $0.46 per diluted common share and net operating income of $63.0 million, or $0.54 per diluted common share.

Fidelis Insurance Group is headquartered in Bermuda, with offices in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Its operating companies have a financial strength rating of A from AM Best, A- from S&P, and A3 from Moody’s.
