MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has appointed Tamara Trotta Amezic (pictured above) as Regional Business Development Manager for the Western United States and Latin America, as part of the Americas Business Development team.

In her new role, Amizik will oversee the external business in these regions and lead the existing team, in close collaboration with MAXIS customers and partners.

Amezik has over 20 years of experience in global employee benefits, with expertise in sales strategy, global relationship management and business development. Prior to joining MAXIS GBN, she worked with MetLife, a MAXIS shareholder.

At MetLife, she led select client relationships within the National Accounts division and sought out new business relationships. From 2017-2020, she served as MetLife’s Director of Global Sales and Strategy, facilitating collaboration between MetLife US and its global businesses.

This appointment marks Amezic’s second tenure at Maxis GBN. From 2010 to 2017, she served as a senior sales executive, managing and expanding employee benefits portfolios for consolidation and qualifying clients in the Midwest and West regions of the United States. She began her career at AIG in 2002, where she held sales and account management positions.

Amezic was born in Croatia and moved to the United States in 1996. She attended Temple University on a tennis scholarship, served as team captain, and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, risk management, insurance, and international business.
