Lower Valley Brokers Insurance and Sloan-Leavitt Insurance, two subsidiaries of the Leavitt Group, have been merged.

Having the Lower Valley Brokers Insurance team on board “made a lot of sense” for both camps, said Nathan Pius (pictured), co-owner of Sloan-Leavitt Insurance.

“Together, we will be stronger and better equipped to navigate the evolving insurance landscape and deliver exceptional value to our customers,” he added.

Founded in 1954 in Otello, Washington, Sloan-Leavitt Insurance offers a wide range of insurance products including property and casualty, life, and crop insurance. Meanwhile, Lower Valley Brokers Insurance helps customers meet their business, benefits, and personal insurance needs.

“Change is on the horizon, and we welcome it with optimism and a commitment to making it a positive experience for everyone involved,” said Vicki Banker, co-owner of Lower Valley Brokers Insurance.

“This change ensures greater stability and flexibility in the face of the challenges facing the insurance market. The loyalty of our customers means everything to us, and we sincerely appreciate their continued support.”

In a separate announcement, it was revealed that Leavitt Group Midwest has acquired Augustine Insurance Agency in Ohio.

Robert Augustine spoke about his retirement: “After much thought, I have decided to leave the legacy my father built, and which I have been able to continue, in the capable hands of Levitt Midwest Group.

“I am very grateful for my 44-year career in insurance and look forward to fishing and spending more time with my family.”

As part of the transaction, Augustine Insurance Agency operations moved to the Leavitt Group Midwest location at 570 Polaris Parkway, Ste. 450, in Westerville.

The Leavitt Group is one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the United States, with an extensive network of more than 90 agencies and more than 250 locations in 27 states.
