Independent reinsurance specialist Miller has announced three new appointments to its Professional Indemnity (PI) team.

Callum McLean, Chris Jones and Tom Davies have joined the team as Miller continues to expand its offering in the legal sector. They will report to Zarina Lawley (pictured above), head of legal services.

McLean joins the firm as a Risk Manager with over 20 years’ experience in the legal and insurance sectors. He was most recently Senior Risk Manager at QBE Insurance and has also held senior roles at Lockton and Marsh. McLean began his career as a solicitor.

Jones joins as Senior Account Executive with 10 years of experience in underwriting, analyst and manager roles in the professional liability insurance space. He previously worked in the InsureTech sector and at Pen Underwriting, where he managed a range of professional liability insurance businesses for lawyers.

Davies joined the firm as an Account Manager from Ardonagh, where he was a client manager and broker, handling direct and wholesale business for professional indemnity.

Lolly welcomed the new employees to Miller and emphasized their importance to the company’s continued expansion.

Miller recently announced the appointment of Kazuhiko Shinkai as Head of Miller’s Non-Marine Strategy in Japan, continuing its expansion into the Japanese market through Lead Insurance Services Limited.
