Preferred Employers Insurance, a Berkley company, announced the appointment of Stephanie Graham as the company’s vice president of claims.

Preferred Employers Insurance Chairman S. Akbar Khan noted the significant contributions Graham has made to the company’s operations over the past few years.

“Stephanie has been a significant contributor to our company’s success over the past 13 years. We are excited to have her lead our claims organization into the future as we continue our mission to be the workers’ compensation solution of choice for California employers,” said Khan. “Stephanie’s leadership and expertise will play a critical role in our company’s future success.”

Who is Stephanie Graham?

Graham initially joined Preferred Employers Insurance as Assistant Vice President of Medical Services and Claims Operations. Prior to her time at the company, she held leadership positions in product and network management with group healthcare providers, claims managers, and several insurance companies including Zenith Insurance and CCN Managed Care Inc.

Prior to her work in the insurance industry, Graham worked as a research psychologist at the Naval Personnel Research and Development Center. Graham earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Redlands.

Graham’s promotion takes effect May 31, and comes ahead of Eric Hansen’s recent promotion to senior vice president in June.
