Global professional services firm Aon has announced the appointment of Margarita Silitonga (pictured above) as Head of Reinsurance Solutions in Indonesia, effective immediately.

Based in Jakarta, Cilitunga will be led by Musa Adlan, CEO and Head of Reinsurance Solutions, Southeast Asia.

In her new role, she will be responsible for developing and executing strategy, driving growth and managing all operations of Aon’s reinsurance solutions in Indonesia.

Previously, Silitonga served as a Senior Relationship Manager and Treaty Broker for several key clients at Aon, gaining additional responsibilities in commercial operations. She joined Aon from MSIG Indonesia in 2020, bringing over 12 years of experience in reinsurance strategy optimization.

“While at Aon, Margarita has demonstrated effective leadership and a deep understanding of brokerage operations in Indonesia,” said Aldan. “She has been instrumental in our recent successes, and her contributions have played a key role in executing our growth strategies and helping shape better business decisions for clients. I wish her well in her new role.”

Silitonga has passed the suitability and appropriateness test required by the Indonesian Financial Services Regulatory Authority (OJK).

The global brokerage firm recently announced the retirement of Paul Davies from his position as Vice Chairman after 36 years of service with the firm and 63 years in the industry.

Davis assumed the role of Vice President in 2023, reporting to Aon CEO Greg Case. In this capacity, he provided strategic advice on the changing risk management landscape and helped strengthen Aon’s ability to manage risk capital.
