Global specialty insurance company Ryan Specialty has announced an exclusive relationship with MagMutual, a mutual insurance company for doctors and hospitals in the United States.
This partnership is facilitated by Sapphire Blue, a division of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, which focuses on complex healthcare risks.
Sapphire Blue, an underwriter in the senior living and related healthcare space, will serve as the exclusive underwriter for MagMutual for policyholders outside the traditional physician and hospital model, particularly in senior living and related healthcare facilities.
The collaboration between Ryan Specialty and MagMutual aims to enhance product innovation, customer service and risk management.
“MAG Mutual is a leader in the physician and hospital professional liability insurance market, and we are pleased to strategically align our healthcare practices with them,” said Patrick J. Ryan, founder, chairman and CEO of Ryan Specialty. “We appreciate the collaboration of Neil Morrell and the talented MAG Mutual team throughout this process, and look forward to delivering innovation and best-in-class customer solutions to our clients and their insurers.”
