The Hartford company announced that Kathleen Winters (pictured) will join its board of directors on July 1. Winters will be a member of the Finance, Investment and Risk Management Committee and the Audit Committee.

Winters began her career at PwC, and previously served as CFO at the automated data processing company where she led transformational initiatives focused on enhancing financial and operational performance. Prior to her tenure at ADP, she served as CFO of MSCI.

The experienced CFO also had several rising roles at Honeywell International, eventually becoming CFO of Performance Materials and Technologies. Additionally, she serves as an independent director on the boards of Global Business Travel Group and Definitive Healthcare Corp.

“Having served as CFO of two large public companies, Kathleen brings a combination of senior executive experience, deep financial expertise, and a focus on business growth and profitability,” noted Christopher Swift, Chairman and CEO of The Hartford.

“She is a highly regarded leader who has successfully overseen global financial organizations and consistently delivered outstanding performance. We look forward to Kathleen joining the Board as we continue to innovate, grow profitably, and deliver long-term value for our shareholders.”

Swift also expressed her gratitude to Edmund Rees, who was recently named Aon’s next CFO and resigned from The Hartford’s board of directors on May 31.
