Wholesale brokerage Flow Specialty has shared its AI doctrine and vision as it uses agentic AI to provide professional liability, administrative liability and cyber insurance products.

Thanks to the AI logo, the mediation has become able to perform tasks independently.

“We believe that AI has the opportunity to revolutionize our industry, but we also believe that companies must be intentional and transparent in the way they build and use AI,” said Sivan Eram, CEO of Flow.

“That’s why we decided to share this AI doctrine publicly, and call on other companies in the insurance space to do the same and conduct an open letter on this topic,” Iram added.

The AI doctrine of mediation includes the recognition that AI cannot replicate the qualities of human intuition, creativity and empathy and that it puts people at the heart of their actions. She said human supervision is also a priority as moderators’ feedback verifies the accuracy of the AI and leads to improvement of its systems.

It also shows that AI is just a tool and its features are only intended to enhance human capabilities. Transparency and trust, as well as privacy and data ownership, are priorities.

“We want the insurance industry to understand that there are uniquely human qualities that AI cannot properly replace, and we are committed to a future where AI is an ally of our brokers,” said David Derigiotis, Head of Insurance at Flow.

“As the only integrated AI-driven insurance brokerage in the market today, Flow is infusing technology and insurance at the cellular level, driven by insurance people who master rapid AI engineering.”
