Tysers expands global reinsurance division with new hires in Singapore

Tycer, a leading reinsurance company, has announced the addition of two senior brokers, Neelima Shivarangani (pictured above, left) and Surabhi Mehrotra (pictured above, right) to its Singapore team. The move is part of Tycer’s strategy to expand and strengthen its global reinsurance offering.

Shivarangani has over 15 years of experience in specialty lines reinsurance in the Asia Pacific region. With her experience as a direct reinsurer and reinsurer in contractual and facultative reinsurance, she has a comprehensive understanding of the direct and reinsurance markets.

Shivarangani has extensive experience in the areas of financial and casualty insurance, including directors and officers liability, professional indemnity and cyber insurance. Shivarangani has a proven track record in structuring facultative and contractual reinsurance solutions tailored to the needs of global clients.

Mehrotra has extensive experience in insurance and reinsurance brokerage, particularly in the SAARC region. Her over 15 years of experience includes handling global risks and reinsurance operations in Singapore.

Mehrotra’s areas of expertise include real estate, engineering, energy, terrorism and political violence. In her previous role, she was instrumental in developing client relationships and delivering solutions for non-marine businesses, both contract and optional.

Babita Rai, Managing Director of Reinsurance Singapore, said Shivarangani and Mehrotra have valuable experience in providing clients with innovative solutions to complex reinsurance risks.
